Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm was a German philologist, jurist, and mythologist. He is best known as the discoverer of Grimm's law in linguistics and as the co-author of the monumental Deutsches WΓΆrterbuch and Grimm's Fairy Tales with his brother Wilhelm.
